Australian Deputy High Commissioner to Fiji
Mr Paul Wilson is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and is currently the Deputy High Commissioner to the Republic of Fiji. Mr Wilson was previously the Australian Consul-General to New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Wallis and Futuna, in addition to Australian Representative to the Pacific Community (SPC). He has also served as Deputy Head of Mission to the Australian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva. In Canberra, he has held a range of roles including working on Pacific, crisis management and arms control issues.

Mr Wilson holds a Bachelor of Mathematics (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Newcastle; and a Master of Arts from the University of Victoria, Canada.
